Crafts

Over the centuries, Scotland has been synonymous with fine craft work. Our native skill with a variety of materials has produced quality, hand-made products that are collected around the world.

Artistry coupled with technical mastery ensures that the work of contemporary craftspeople, like glass engraver Alison Kinnaird and silversmith William Kirk, appears in museum collections around the world.

People in and around the Cairngorms National Park are constantly inspired to create amazing unique objects in wood, glass and a variety of fabric. Support our members’ work and buy yourself something that is a bit special by browsing their links.
