I am inspired by the  wonderful landscapes of the Cairngorms National Park and the Moray coast beyond. It gives me many opportunities to develop my photography skill and style.

I have been passionate about Photography since I was a teenager. My first ’proper’ camera was a Pentax 35mm film camera. Many years on I now use a digital SLR camera. The change to digital technology has allowed a more rapid development of my photography. Despite the huge size  of the Cairngorms I am attracted to the intimate and atmospheric details of the landscape. I also love the abstract detail in close up shots and my perennial flower garden also inspires me.  My approach, once I find my subject, is to carefully plan how best to capture it to best match my vision.
