Eleanor Honeyborne
Painter, Jeweller
Location: Rothiemurchus

Previous & current work is generally based on landscape and nature. Many of my pieces use vibrant colours; I enjoy painting autumn scenes & sunsets. Medium varies but I mainly work with Acrylic paint, it dries quickly and I work with a layering system so it works with my style. My landscapes tend to be quite expressive so the viewer can add their own vision within the painting, suggestions rather than a detailed account. I also work the other way too, where my work will show every single branch or each petal of many flowers. Each project I create generally has several pieces, showing different aspects at which I want to portray. My work can be seen around the Cairngorm National Park and I generally will have work in Loch an Eilein art Gallery on the Rothiemurchus estate. Commissions are always welcome.
As well as painting I make jewellery with semi-precious stones or brightly coloured beads, delicate pieces from earrings to necklaces and always happy to be commissioned for a piece for a special occasion.
