Jo specialises in driftwood crafts, mainly mirrors and candleholders. She finds the forms, texture and grain of the wood fascinating and beautiful and loves nothing more than combing local beaches.

Each piece of wood carries its own secret history, from the journey down a river or across the sea, tossed and carved by the waves, nibbled by fish and crustaceans to be beached onto the pebbles or sand.

Jo chooses the wood carefully with each unique form showing the craft best suited to produce a piece of functional art.
