Join us

We welcome people with an active interest in any of the creative arts and crafts from painting to sculpture, card making to needlecraft, writing to pottery. We anticipate that full members will be working in a professional or semi-professional capacity, making some or all of their living working in their chosen discipline.
However, we are prepared to consider applications from anyone who supports the aims of the association. You don’t even have to live or work in the Park area as there is associate membership for people outside the Cairngorms National Park who are interested in what we are doing.
Membership
Individual membership entitles you to voting rights in the organisation. It also allows access to all of the services provided such as exhibitions, training events and the benefits of meetings and opportunities to network with fellow artists, crafts people and gallery owners. Individual members can also be represented in publicity material e.g. members’ directory and they may also have their details included on the Creative Cairngorms website with a link to their own website.
Business/family membership is designed for families and organisations. Business/family membership entitles members to all the benefits of an individual member (i.e one web page, one entry in the member’s directory)
Student membership is available to persons in full-time education.
The association runs ‘showcase’ events to highlight the work of members. These may incur an additional fee to take part, or involve commission rate on sales to cover the costs of the event. Membership fees also cover the running costs of the association.
Get involved!
As artists, we source locations throughout the Park to display our work. Your help would be greatly appreciated with displays in your area.

Regular press information
We have a small group of members who handle our press releases.
There are lots of ways you can get involved e.g. putting up, dismantling and packing artwork, transport, and especially manning the exhibitions.
