creative cairngorms : join usJoin Us

We welcome people with an active interest in any of the creative arts and crafts from painting to sculpture, card making to needlecraft, writing to pottery. We anticipate that full members will be working in a professional or semi-professional capacity, making some or all of their living working in their chosen discipline.

However, we are prepared to consider applications from anyone who supports the aims of the association. You don’t even have to live or work in the Park area as there is associate membership for people outside the Cairngorms National Park who are interested in what we are doing.

Membership

Individual membership entitles you to voting rights in the organisation. It also allows access to all of the services provided such as exhibitions, and the benefits of meeting and networking with fellow artists, crafts people and gallery owners. Individual members can also be represented in publicity material e.g. the gallery trail leaflet and they may also have their details included on the Creative Cairngorms website with a link to their own website.

Business/family membership is designed for families and organisations. Business/family membership entitles members to all the benefits of an individual member (i.e one web page)

Student membership is available to those in full-time education.

The association runs ‘showcase’ events to highlight the work of members. These usually involve a commission to Creative Cairngorms on any sales to cover the costs of the event. Membership fees also cover the running costs of the association.

How much does it cost?

Individual membership £30

Family membership £37.50
Business/Group membership £50
Student membership £15

AGM

It’s really important that we get your input as this helps to shape the way forward for Creative Cairngorms.  Your vote, and your views at our AGM are really important to us.

Feedback and Ideas

Creative Cairngorms is a membership organisation where everyone is encouraged to feed back thoughts and ideas as part of our continual improvement …… many brilliant projects start as small ideas ….. so, if you have an idea you would like to share, we’d love to hear from you.

Exhibitions
There are lots of ways you can get involved e.g. putting up, dismantling and packing artwork, transport, and especially manning the exhibitions.

Getting involved in what we do helps us to get things done and can be fun.

We are always looking for new members

If you would like to become involved in raising the profile of Creative Cairngorms, please let us know.
