I have been working as a professional photographer for nearly 30 years and I am still absolutely loving it.

I thoroughly enjoy:-

· Interpreting what my clients and customers want, fulfilling the brief and taking pictures that please and delight.
· The Challenge of keeping up with the technology and all the new developments in such an exciting creative industry.
· Going to new venues and locations, sorting out interesting places that will make the best shots.
· Making the photography a happy relaxed experience for all concerned.

I studied at the Royal College of Art, achieving an MA in photography in 1983. Returning to Cumbria I began working as a photographer, documenting community projects and teaching photography in formal settings. Further study in 1991 at St. Martins College Lancaster lead to a post grad. Diploma in Youth and Community work. I continued to work with a wide variety of individuals and community groups enabling others to discover and explore their creativity through photography.

For the last six years I have concentrated on more commercial commissions, wedding photography and family lifestyle portrait photography.

However I always like to have a personal project or two on the go at any one time, at the moment I am enjoying taking photographs at Dalraddy Holiday Park documenting the wonderful ways in which the owners make their caravans and area around it unique and personal.
