Morag makes traditional handmade soaps from a variety of enriching oils (olive, castor, sweet almond, coconut); using the cold process method she creates soaps which are very different to the harsh, nutrient-depleted but chemical-laden synthetic ones available on the mass market. The basic ingredients in her soaps – as well as bath bombs and cocoa butter melts – are complimented with natural colourants such as plant extracts and pigments, and scented with a wide range of essential oils and good quality fragrance oils. Further additions such as flower petals, poppy seeds, sea salts and pumice are used to enhance the products.

In addition, in soaps, candles, and bath bombs Morag likes to experiment with  unusual shapes, textures, colours and scents to make the kind of products which are not widely available, so are special both for their quality and their naturalistic designs. A big part of the joy in making these products comes from the alchemy: taking disparate ingredients and blending them, crafting them into something completely different in which the whole is always greater than the sum of its parts.

Morag is a member of both the Guild of Craft Soap and Toiletry Makers and the European Directory of Soap and Cosmetic Makers.

Knitted scarfs and cork noticeboards are also available – please ask.
